Armoured by default

The Black Alligator starts with a Mercedes-AMG GLS and ends as something else entirely. Its panels are carbon-covered Kevlar over a steel cage, so even the non-armoured car is safer than a regular one, as Top Gear reported. The diamonds are real: 1,001 of them, ground to dust and lacquered into the paint.

Old-school opulence inside

While other carmakers compete over whose screen is bigger, DARTZ keeps the royal coachbuilding tradition: natural wood, natural gold, natural diamonds and natural leather, with real buttons and analogue gauges. Buttons cut from precious metals recall the days when cars smelled of petrol, oil and real banknotes.

Black Tiger Moon Edition

For China, designer Alexander Isaev redesigned the body completely for the Year of the Tiger: boxy volumes, thick pillars, angular arches and armoured windows, in bright orange and naked carbon fibre. The first was delivered to its owner in China in 2022.
